This is another simple yet commonly overlooked task that greatly improves the appearance of the home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Applying weed &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2"&gt;killer&lt;/span&gt; to cracks. Nothing screams "Foreclosure" louder than weeds growing in the cracks of sidewalks. Periodically applying an organic weed killer mixture of vinegar and salt kills and &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3"&gt;controls&lt;/span&gt; weeds. This is another task that is inexpensive, does not take a tremendous amount of time and is easy &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_4"&gt;to accomplish.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Sweep up debris instead of blowing. Blowing debris with a typical blower creates dust and typically only throws it into the neighbors yard. While some use of a blower is practical, for the most part sweeping with a strong broom produces a much cleaner result. After the &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_5"&gt;initial&lt;/span&gt; sweeping with a broom, a blower can be used to dispose of any final debris.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Recycle: In the City of Houston it is easy, and free to recycle. There are numerous facilities that allow people to recycle glass, plastic, paper and card board. Not only does this reduce the amount of &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_6"&gt;debris&lt;/span&gt; sent to landfills but it also reduces the cost. An average truck load of debris taken to the dump is $$41.00, &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_7"&gt;recycling&lt;/span&gt; is free.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Donate: Many of the items left behind can be donated to the Salvation Army or Goodwill. They have donation centers all over Houston and are glad to &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_8"&gt;accept&lt;/span&gt; slightly used items.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Communicate with neighbors. Most of the neighbors around a foreclosed home are very curious about many things. While we are not Real Estate Professionals per &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_9"&gt;&lt;span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_0"&gt;se&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;', we can speak intelligently about where they can &lt;span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_10"&gt;directly&lt;/span&gt; questions.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Assist with the marketing of the property: Our background in marketing, technology, and social media give us a unique advantage in syndicating the distribution of a listing and gaining greater expose. Greater exposure and use of social media gives the property greater exposure to buyers and Real Estate Agents.
